Asa will drop her first album after a long hiatus of 5 years. The project is titled Lucid.
It is a follow-up project after her beautiful offering Bed of Stone which came out in 2014.
Asa had this to say about the upcoming album:
“Lucid is about the idea of love. It might be for me, it might not be for me. With what I have seen, I cannot do what people expect of me. My whole message is that I am not going to be like my mother. I am going to be myself”.
The Nigerian-French singer and songwriter released two singles, "The Beginning" and "Good Thing"; the latter has stunning visuals directed by Sesan.
