A lost Miles Davis album has been released by Rhino Records, and is titled Rubberband.
The album was recorded 30 years ago by legendary producers Randy Hall and Zane Giles in Los Angeles’ Ameraycan Studios.
The LP's press releases says “the musical direction Davis was taking during the sessions marked a radical departure, with the inclusion of funk and soul grooves [and] with plans to feature guest vocalists Al Jarreau and Chaka Khan.”
