The experimental cool kid of Nigeria, Santi, dropped a spooky short film intended as a music video for his “Raw Dinner” featuring Nigerian (but U.K based) rapper and Afropop singer Kida Kudz, a single off his debut album, Mandy and the Jungle, released earlier this year.
The de facto leader of Nigeria's burgeoning 'Alte' movement- a creatively rebellious collective of artists set to upset the commercial mainstream scene- Santi put his directorial cap and birthed this Nigerian-horror-inspired 8-minutes long short film about superheroes committed to fighting crime and saving their friend, Kida Kudz.
The video, which features Nollywood star Carol King (Everyday People, Dazzling Mirrage), was nicely shot and the costume work is excellent.
