The annual SculptX Fair is still running til the 29th of September in Melrose Arch, Johannesburg.
This art gathering is held every September in celebration of sculpture and according to ArtAfrica it "includes over 290 sculptures by more than 90 established and emerging sculptors". The exhibited works will be showcased in various venues around Joburg including The Melrose Gallery, Daytona, the African Pride Hotel, the Galleria, among others.
The artists whose pieces will be on display include Andre Stead, Adilson de Oliveira, Adejoke Tugbiyele, Berco Wilsenach, Magolide Collective, Marina Walsh, Mark Swart, Mncedi Madolo, Mhlonishwa Chiliza, Ndabuko Ntuli, Nic Hester, Nico Phooko, Nkosinathi Ngulube, Noria Mabasa, Otto du Plessis, Oupavusi Mokwena, Paul du Toit, Pitika Ntuli, Phahlo Mtangai, Philani Mhlungu, Philiswa Lila.
