Sweat The Technique: Revelations On Creativity From The Lyrical Genius will mean Rakim is now in the company of other great Hip Hop pioneers to have scribbled texts, and these include LL Cool J, KRS-One, Ice-T, Chuck D, Scarface.
The 272-long book was written with Bakari Kitwana, a journalist and activist, well known for being executive editor at The Source.
